Regarding the flight contract system I have a question: Will we have an option to auto assign flights or will we have to arrange them one by one? For me it would be a fantastic feature that would help making the game not so monotonous. The rest is fine, keep the good work. Looking forward to its release.

Once you assign flight on the specific time it remains and repeats each day. Until you move it or cancel. As in real airport, but with a small difference. Real airports usually have week-long cycle - all flights repeat each 7 days. In the game we have 1-day cycle. It means you have 24h schedule and each flight repeats every day.

Regarding to initial flights schedulling - this is important part of the game. Each flight have to be fit in. Player should take into account several limitation: ramps number, flight requirement (jet bridge, time interval etc), RWY load (it's not possible to assign flight into a timeslot if operations' limit exceed).

Ok, thanks god, because I have tried other games (we all know which ones thay are) and in them you have to assign the flights one by one for every day (they don't have cycles) and it's terribly boring.

Hey there,
Thats nice to Know - i have some questions:
Can we negotiate the contracts? If we have a higher Rating, we Can negotiate better and get better conditions because of more experience or sth like this. What do you think? What about the Economy aspect? Is it hard to earn Money and get better rated delieveres like fuel or security?

This seems like a really good system.

I am also glad that players don't constantly have to micro-manage the schedule, as that just isn't fun.

What really destroyed Banished for me (I know different genre, but a "building" game) was that you constantly were kept busy re-adjusting levels of workers etc. That just isn't fun, and doesn't add anything to a game.

Hopefully SkyHaven is a chill game, that isn't full of pointless micro-management, and is instead focused on the fun and challenge of slowly expanding your airport. Looks like things are heading in the right direction so far.

I decided to subscribe to this game. Looks good. Release, as I understand it, is planned for the end of 2018?

Not sure if I understand this correctly. So if you schedule flights for Monday, these would be the same for all following days, Tuesday, Wednesday and so on?

If that is the case, we also need weekly flights... some airlines only have specific flights on Mondays or Thursdays etc. So would be nice to have both daily flights and weekly flights. This would make scheduling more interesting and keep it also challenging. Some airlines should have operational conditions such as: this flight needs to arrive on a specific day (weekly) or this should be a morning flight (daily or weekly) and so on.

What are your thoughts on this?

We thought about week-length schedule. But it increases complexity seven times. Just imagine how difficult to manage schedule 24x7 in an airport with 20 ramps? Seven tabs with 20x24. It's "a bit" messy. What about 40 ramps?

On the other hand at the start of the game you dont have many flights and ramps. Few flights spread by the week days will force you to wait and observe empty airport a lot.

So we dont have weekdays. There are just days. Of course you will have requests from airlines for specific time interval for their flights.
